Ceci Day performed a full set at the iconic Water Rats, featuring releases like 'With Fire' and 'Soho In July', as well as her latest single, 'lipstick on my orange juice'. This was a captivating show that marked Ceci's debut appearance at The Water Rats, which has witnessed a long line of legends, including Bob Dylan's first UK gig in 1962, The Pogues first gig in 1982 and Oasis' first London gig in 1994, along with a roll call of other household names throughout the years from Katy Perry to The Courteeners to Ra Ra Riot. 

Ceci Day headlined at London’s iconic Troubadour, delivering over an hour of original, acoustic songs. Drawing on her upbringing between Wyoming and the UK, she shared reflective, lyrical tracks including the unreleased Goodbye Sweet Sheridan, alongside fan favourites With Fire and Soho in July. Her confident, assured performance showcased a voice that “oozes class,” supported solely by guitar, and captivated a warm, attentive audience. The evening blended folk, country, and acoustic storytelling, highlighting Ceci’s emerging artistry and creating a night defined by connection, quiet intensity, and the magic of live music.

At this cozy, unplugged venue, Ceci debuted several new songs alongside fan favourites. The intimate setting amplified every note and lyric, creating the fleeting magic that only live music can bring. A post-show editorial praised “Goodbye Sweet Sheridan” for capturing the pull between city and country, and highlighted the energy and promise of unreleased songs like “Lipstick On My Orange Juice.”
